My .02

If have to go back to town to prevent dying and loosing your streak, you don't deserve the title to begin with.

That is all.

same...
another one of the titles that screws over the people who've had the game for a while.

Go to tyria and solo a farming area that you know you won't die from easily and repeat.

Considering the fact that every monster on the main island in Cantha is level 20+, it pretty much requires you to be 15+(my assassin was 17 from doing all the starter island quests, and only those) by the time you get to the main island. It's still complicated to get Survivor in Cantha...I was going for it, almost had it, and boom, someone aggro'd too many groups and they chased me down Why must they always target the monk? Lol, oh well, it's not like it's important, if I couldn't survive, I don't need the title

EDIT: Those of you complaining about having to start a new character: You, too, don't deserve the title, if you did, you would still have 0 deaths from the beginning of the game, because you would probably have ragequit a few times yourself. No offense to anyone, of course.

This title just plain sucks. You either have people who leave or won't do anything for fear of actually taking damage, and then you have the people who get power leveled and ran everywhere as soons as possible, neither of which seems fair (at least to me anyway).

Or they weren't trying hard to earn a title, and thus didn't bother being as careful as they would have otherwise been.

Oh, and PvP deaths count too. Better not step into an arena...

... or people that did all the quests and missions.

I got my Survivor on my mesmer from doing all the Shing Jea and mainland quests, at 160k now, and still at 0 deaths. Moved over to Tyria and running the missions there with PUGs. Maybe I play a little more carefully, but I wouldn't quit midgame. It's really a learning experience, makes me add more defensive skills to my build, and it doesn't harm the team to have a careful player with Rebirth to rez them all if need be.

As someone said, getting Survivor isn't much nothing for Canthan charas atleast. You can get it easy doing the fedex quests, and henching the shing jea missions, just to be sure

Prolly my tries at Indominable Survior stop at Vizunah Square tho.

edit: before Vizunah Square, stupid Mayhem in the Market, took few wrong turns

I have my ranger going for Indominable and I am at 250k now. The first title wasn't too hard but after this point it is not so easy. However, I only hench it because while I have yet to need to map out (including Vitznah Square), I reserve the right to do so if I must.

The real problem is the bosses. Double damage from an AOE puts so much hurt down that I have to be very careful. Double self heals and defensive stancing for sure....

Pointless title anyway, people only look for titles for PvP experience.

wth do titles as 'Drunkard', 'Explorer/Trailblazer/Grand Master Cartographer', 'Protector of Tyria/Cantha', 'Seeker of Wisdom', 'Skill Hunter' etc etc have to do with PvP? Are all those titles pointless as well?

Everyone doesn't PvP anyways c.c

I think rage quiters would be a big problem. *smile* They should get points to the 'moody stage in life' title, especially if they include a combination of rudeness or shortened words before quitting, like the one I saw last night.

I'd like to see a good citizen/friends title where other people can add votes to your character. You have 1 vote to give to every other GW account (maybe character??), only one chance to vote for that account/char to reduce the abuse of the ragers with multiple accounts/chars. Theres no vote deduction.

So the more different ppl you team up with and make friends (not bitch moan etc) the more points you could amass.

Nice idea, but it would be abused to something very unreliable, guildies giving ++ votes etc etc

Should be a Leeroy Jenkins title for how many times you got your team wiped out.

In Cantha it is extremely easy to get the first tier, it has no correlation to how skilled a player is.
